Stampin’ Around With Wheels
Backgrounds for your cards — roll the wheel across a piece of card stock and trim it to layer onto another card and then mount something which suits that wheel on top of it. Use them across the top and bottom of cards, then colored with markers and blender pens.
Gift-wrap — roll across paper bags, and then cut into a decorative top for a gift bag (or make coordinating tissue paper.)
Napkin rings — roll across shrink art and made napkin rings. (Paper napkins or kid’s party napkins)
Roll the design across the top of a 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 piece of shrink art, and then cut it into strips. The narrower the strip the longer your ring will be. Then begin shrinking, while still warm fold the ends over until you’ve formed a loop and the ends meet. Sometimes I had to re-heat the shrink to get it completely meet.
Candy bar wrappers – roll all over on the wrapper of the candy bar, add a message and you have a treat or small gift!
Tri-fold Cards — roll diagonally across the card, to make a tri-fold card. You need to roll across the front and back to get these to turn out right, but it does look really cute to see flowers zigzagging down the card.
Mosaic Tiles — make mosaic tiles for cards, scrapbook pages, etc., or even a mosaic tile bookmark.
Stationary sets / envelopes – roll across the top and bottom of stationary papers, and then add coordinating stamp to paper. On envelope, roll down edge next to return address.
Kindergarten Classroom Art Center -- put them out as a center, cover the table with paper, and just let the kids roll all over the papers!
Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share …
