GSF Colour Challenge
I’ve done a water wash with Lemon Lime Twist and an Aqua Painter for the background. Then when it was dry, I stamped the dotted image a couple of times along the edge in Early Espresso The Dragonfly is stamped in Island Indigo with a peek of a Delicate White Doily and some Silver Metallic Thread under it. Here’s a closer look:
It’s a bit difficult to see the Silver Metallic Thread. How do you attach yours? I’d be interested to know if there’s a good method. Mine seems to be place a few Glue Dots down and hope for the best.
GSF Colour Challenge Basics:
- Card base is Island Indigo cut to 14.8 cm x 21 cm or 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored and folded at 10.5 cm or 4 1/4″
- Lemon Lime Twist layer is cut to 13.8 cm x 9.5 cm or 5″ x 3 3/4″
- Early Espresso layer is cut to 13.3 cm x 9 cm or 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
- Watercolor layer is cut to 12.8 cm x 8.5 cm or 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″
- Delicate White Doily is cut to 1/4
- Silver Metallic Thread is roughly 5 turns around my spread out fingers.
- Insert is cut to 13.5 cm x 9.5 cm or 5″ x 3 3/4″ and stamped with the dotted image in Island Indigo
- C6 envelope is also stamped with dotted image in Island Indigo on the front and back
