Handbags from Cupcake Punch

I just love Stampin’ Up! products. They are so versatile and have many different uses. I must say I have cased this card from somewhere. Let me know if it’s yours so I can give you credit.

I think these are just the cutest little handbags. You could use this card for any occasion. You could stamp a sentiment from the Tiny Tags set and use the Tiny Tags punch to punch the sentiment out and attach it around the ribbon with linen thread. The possibilities are endless.

Build a Cup Cake Punch (Item # 121807 A$33.95)
Create a Cupcake stamp set (Item # 123553 A$45.95 wood or 121982 A$36.95 clear)
3/4″ Circle medium punch  (Item # 119873 A$20.95

Method:
Fold the Pretty in Pink card in half and use your bone folder to give it a nice crisp crease.
Insert the front of the card into the Framed Tulips folder and run through your Big Shot.
If you want trim your card stock so it is the same size as the frame – I did this as I felt it made the card look better.
Layer your Early Espresso and Whisper White card together.
Tie your ribbon in a bow or knot (as I have done – right over left and then left over right – a reef knot – will give you a nice flat finish) and wrap around and adhere to the 2 pieces of card.
Now adhere that piece to your card front ensuring it is centred inside the fram.
Now use your scraps of card and stamp 3 cupcake cases and then punch them out.
Use the circle punch to punch a circle from Early Espresso and Pretty in Pink. Cut the circles in half. I used the punch again and moved it a little way from the original punched out image to give me a handle. Use a dab of glue to attach the handle to the top of the bag (bottom of the cupcake case). Now use a dimensional to attach the half circle to the top of the handbag and finish with a rhinestone or pearl. Use a dimensional on the back of the hand bag and adhere to your card, ensuring the handbags are equidistant..
I hope you enjoy making this card. I certainly did.

Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share …
