I’m doing a week-long feature on using Shimmer Paint and this is the first of many projects I hope to share. Using the Swirls & Curls textured Impressions Folder (Holiday Catalogue), I have embossed, then used a sponge to add the Copper Shimmer Paint to the raised portions of the embossing.

Holiday Catalogue Fun Tips:

  • Use 1 of your Acrylic Blocks as a palette. Drop 1 or 2 drops of Shimmer Paint onto it then dab your sponge in it until you have only a light coverage, then use it on your card
  • When die cutting and embossing such as with the Detailed Baubles Thinlits Dies, die cut first, leave the die in and then emboss with the Embossing Mats
