Lovely Paper Clips (Video)

I have another idea for a Gift for Mum today and it’s Lovely Paper Clips. Ones you decorate yourself and they are quick and easy, I promise.

I meant to post this early Thursday but the technology gremlins struck again and Windows 10 Update caused my main computer to crash big time. After wasting many an hour trying to fix it with Google’s help, I managed to fix it myself by pressing a few keys. I now have the wonderful job of reinstalling nearly everything and that included my Video editing software. Hence this post is very late as all the photos and video to edit were on the main computer!

Lovely Paper Clips

This is the first one I made. I purchased the giant paper clips from Kmart and I’ve also seen similar in the dollar shops. I’ve simply punched 3 circles out and added some fussy cut images.

The back view. You could cover the whole back with Designer Series Paper or use a larger punched circle to give a narrow mat.

Watch the video to see what I did and I share a few helpful tips with you as well.

Thanks so much for watching, don’t miss out on more ideas

Isn’t that a great idea to protect the embellishment on the Paper Clip? Use your Fine Tip Glue Pen to create a glossy hard finish.

I just love the Share What We Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. As it’s Stampin’ Up! 30th Birthday this year, they’re celebrating it with lots of Pearl and this DSP is not exception. Many of the papers have a beautiful pearl look to them.

I hope you enjoyed these Paper Clip gifts. They’d be great with some note cards and envelopes too. Place them in a bespoke box with a gift certificate and give to someone special.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.

Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share…
