Welcome to another International Blog Hop for National Craft Month Blog Hop. I’m sure you’ll get lots of inspiration from all the wonderful Stampin’ Up! Projects you see. Make sure you visit all the blogs in the hop.
I decided to make a Note Card set and put them all in the acetate card box which carried over from the Holiday Catalogue.
National Craft Month Blog Hop Note Card Gift Set
I’ve really just used up some pieces of A Whole Lot Of Lovely Designer Series Paper which I had left over. I didn’t need to cut into any whole sheets. I’ve adhered the D.S.P. with Liquid Glue then added different sentiments and embellishments to the card to make them look a bit different. I think it would make a lovely gift or a great Hostess Gift.
I’ve incorporated all the colours in the D.S.P. and used three different stamp sets to achieve the finished look.
The Note Cards and Envelopes are perfect for this type of project. The Note Cards are pre-scored and cut and the envelopes match perfectly. You don’t need to stamp inside the Note Cards or on the envelopes even. Although, I may go back and add some D.S.P. to the envelopes to make them look more like ‘happy mail’.
You can see by adding different sentiments from different stamp sets and using the colours which coordinate with the D.S.P., gives the card a bit of difference. Then I have added ribbon to each.
By tying a bow either with single or double loops, or a knot makes the ribbon look different. Add a bit of Gold Mini Sequin Trim and you have another difference to add.
With a couple I used ink and a Blender Pen to colour the image which was stamped in Basic Black Archival ink.
National Craft Month Blog Hop Card Basics:
- Note Cards – Whisper White
- Designer Series Paper cut to 8.5 cm x 12.3 cm or 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″
- Ribbon and Trim cut from the roll as you go so there’s little waste.
So, there’s a full picture of all the cards which go in the Acetate Box.
Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share…
