Out with the Old In with the New

Welcome back to another RemARKable Blog Hop with all these super talented people. Today we’re saying “Out with the Old and in with the New”. So my project has something from the Holiday Catalogue (which is carrying over), something from the new Occasions (Spring in the USA) Catalogue and something from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue as well as a couple of items from the Annual Catalogue. See if you can tell which one is which before I tell you.

I just had to make a belly band for a 3″ x 3″ box from the Holiday Catalogue and carried over. I’ve used the new Dragonfly Details Thinlit Die to cut a solid dragonfly in Silver Glimmer Paper and another Dragonfly in Vellum which I brushed with Clear Wink of Stella and then dipped in Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. See the images below:

Here is one view

Perhaps a little better in this view.

My next project is a card and I have used the same Designer Series Paper under the dragonflies.

So the Dragonfly trail is made with the star trail from Star of Light in the Holiday Catalogue and carried over with the gorgeous Dragonflies die cut on the Whisper White and I used 1/4 Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the dragonflies and give them some dimension. The Designer Series Paper underneath is the Carried Away D.S.P. which you can get FREE with an A$90 purchase from current catalogues from 4th January 2017 to 31st March.

I used the small dragonfly from Awesomely Artistic to stamp in Smoky Slate inside the card and on the front and back of the envelope. The sentiment is also stamped in Smoky Slate. Now if you like this card and would like to make it at a Workshop, I will send it to you along with a Hostess Packet. Leave a comment below or contact me.

  1. Libby, your projects are gorgeous! I love the layered, glimmery dragonfly on the belly band. The layers of small dragonflies is so pretty. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Great projects, Libby. The more I keep seeing those little Dragon Flys, the more I might have to get them!! The card is just gorgeous…so striking.
