Today I made a card, the Painted Harvest Sketch Challenge. Now, this was a sketch challenge for the Latte Girls Team and we had a month to participate. I finally got my card finished tonight.
I have struggled this week with numbness in my left hand apparently caused by a restricted nerve in my arm. Why restricted? It’s the way I sleep. I have slept the same way all my life except when I was pregnant with my twins. Now I have to change a life time’s habit. Yes well that didn’t work on the first night. Tried every which way but no sleep happening. Finally last night I took to my reclining chair and had a good night’s sleep. Guess my chair gets it until the issue resolves itself. Anyway it’s been making crafting very difficult. Today, I was determined not to let it beat me. Now you know why today’s post is so late. My apologies.
Painted Harvest Sketch Challenge
Fussy cutting is a bit of a challenge so i used the Sunburst Punch to punch out the flowers which are adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The leaves are Pear Pizzazz ink stamped onto Pear Pizzazz card and punched out with the Leaf Punch.
I’ve stamped the sunflowers in Soft Sky and Tempting Turquoise with the centres being Daffodil Delight. I’ve not used this combination before but I do quite like it.
The sentiment is stamped in Tempting Turquoise and comes from the Hanging Garden stamp set in the Occasions Catalogue.

I hope you like this card and i’d love to read your comments. I did my usual ‘cheating’ by stamping across the insert and the card at the same time.
