RemARKably Created Blog Tour - Stampin' Blends

I’m really excited to be part of this international RemARKably Created Blog Tour – Stampin’ Blends. In case you haven’t hear Stampin’ Blends are Stampin’ Up!’s new alcohol based markers. So take the tour and be inspired. I’m sure you’l want them all by the end of the tour.

I found it a bit difficult to decide on a project for today as I tend to love using the Stampin’ Blends. It’s not unknown for me to spend many hours just colouring away. Anyway one of my projects revolved around a suggestion by Patty Bennett to colour the same image but in all the different colours. So I took the “Thank You” from Color Me Happy and stamped it 12 times. Each one was coloured with the light of the colour on the top and the darker shade of the same colour on the bottom and this is what I came up with:

Thanks You Stampin' Blends

Did you pick out which one is missing? Apart from Ivory, Bronze and the Color Lifter, that is.

Here’s the card I made using the Night of Navy sample and see if you. Are you able to spot what else I have used Stampin’ Blends for in my RemARKably Created Blog Tour – Stampin’ Blends project:

I coloured the ‘shadow’ area with a Watercolor Pencil and Blender Pen. The little flourishes are also coloured with the ones on the right being the Light Night of Navy and the ones on the left being the Dark Bight of Navy. Here’s a closer look at that element.

I love the way the Stampin’ Blends, blend into each other. The colouring was done to an imaginary line in the Light Night of Navy first. Then the bottom of each letter in the Dark Night of Navy and going over where the two tones met with the Light Night of Navy again.

I did stamp the Daisy in Delightful Daisy, then coloured the Faceted Gem in the Dark Delightful Daisy Stampin’ Blend. So now we can colour all our embellishments with our Stampin’ Blends and as they’re alcohol markers, they’re permanent.

Now did you know Stampin Up! make Ombre Delightful Daffodil? No, I didn’t either until I coloured the Classic Weave Ribbon with both the Dark and Light Delightful Daffodil Stampin’ Blends. Now, just a quick peek at the inside of my card:

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.

Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share…
