I just love the Swirly Bird Photopolymer bundle. Here I’ve used it to come up with a sailing card for a birthday. You could make this card for any occasion using the Greatest Greetings stamp set in combination with this bundle. You could make it in ‘girly’ colours too if you wanted to.
It’s a simple tent card which I have stamped down the outside with one of the stamps. Then I’ve added a panel of Whisper White. I stamped the sentiment and the bottom of the boat. The boat pieces are stamped on scraps of Whisper White and hand cut with snips, which is quite easy cutting.
The sun is stamped in Crushed Curry once I’d cut the sail pieces and roughly placed them on the card to position the sun correctly. I’ve also used one of the images to stamp inside the card and on the front and back of the envelope in Dapper Denim.
The waves are achieved by using the Framelit and Big Shot cutting one in Dapper Denim and one in Soft Sky. Just invert one to get the wave idea going and adhere with a Fine Tip Glue Pen and trim off the excess before adhering the panel to the card base. Add the boat sails and flag with Stampin’ Dimensionals and draw in the mast with a Dapper Denim Stampin’ Write Marker.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.
Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share …
