SUDSOL Holiday Blog Tour

Hello, I’m glad you made it here on the SUDSOL blog tour and I hope you’re getting lots of good holiday ideas from this Blog Hop.
SUDSOL (Simply Unique Demonstrators Sharing Online) is celebrating 15 years. Why not come along and join in the fun of what there is to share? You can sign up for a free 2 week trial here.
Are you an Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator? Do you belong to SUDSOL? You should you know.
One of the great benefits of being a SUDSOL member is the access to the hundreds of project ideas and instructions. As well as being your Upline 24/7, it’s a wonderful community of dedicated SU demonstrators who freely share and give ideas and advice.

There is a fantastic Creative Library with projects, pictures, templates and instructions. If you belong to SUDSOL, you’ll never be stuck for a creative idea again. The SUDSOL Library has posts of pictures and tutorials. Check out my photo gallery as a sneak peek to what’s available.
For this blog tour, I have 3 projects to share with you. My first project is a Pocket Card Bag – you need to provide the candy canes
All products are © Stampin’ Up!® unless stated otherwise.
Card – Riding Hood Red and Whisper White
Inks – Riding Hood Red and Wild Wasabi
Stamp set – Perfect Punches
Ribbon – 1-1/4″ (3.2 cm) Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in Wild Wasabi
Punches – 1 3/8” circle and 1 ¾” scallop circle
Dimensionals – for behind the sentiment
Snail adhesive
Bone folder
You could put almost anything in this cute little pocket. You could even put a gift card inside it and fold the top flap down and secure with a brad. Lots of possibilities.
For my second project, I have made a card.

This card is in landscape fashion with a side opening.
All products are © Stampin’ Up!® unless stated otherwise.
Card – Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler
Punches – Corner and Modern Label
Embossing Buddy
Big Shot
Finial Press and Stripes
Stamp sets – Tree trimmings and Season of Joy
Embossing Powder – Cherry Cobbler and Silver
Ink pads – Versamark
Snail Adhesive
Seam Binding Ribbon – Cherry Cobbler
There’s lots of texture on this traditional type Christmas card. The seam binding ends are hidden inside the front of the card. I use a craft knife to make a small slit in the spine of the card and I thread the end through the slit to prevent the end of the ribbon being seen on the back of the card.
My last project is a stamped candle which I have placed inside a hurricane vase.

I’ve never stamped on a candle before, so this was an exciting adventure for me. Mind you I was worried the smoke alarm might go off, but it didn’t, so that was good. I chose a non- Christmas stamp set for this project but I think you’ll agree it works well.
All products are © Stampin’ Up!® unless stated otherwise.
Stamp set – Baroque motifs
Ink – Cherry cobbler and Old Olive
Ribbon – Cherry Cobbler 1/2″ (1.3 cm) Scallop Dots Ribbon
Snail adhesive
Heat gun
Non- Stampin’ Up!® products
Hurricane Vase
Tissue paper
This was so easy, I’m amazed I haven’t tried it before. The candle came with instructions and warnings so I cut that label out and I’ve stuck it to the base of the vase with snail adhesive. At least I feel I have taken the necessary precautions needed. Here’s one more peek

Well, that’s it from me. Don’t forget to check out SUDSOL and sign up for your free 2 week trial. I’m sure you’ll decide to stay once you have tried it out. Now it’s time for you to go to the next blog – have fun.

Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share …
