Sunshine Sayings

Today I decided to participate in the WWYS Challenge #99 Sunshine Sayings challenge.

It’s a great stamp set, which I have in clear mount. It has lots of sentiments and allows you to ‘play’ with the images to create different effects. There’s a pack of Sunshine Wishes Thinlit Dies which co-ordinates with the set and you can buy them as a bundle and save 10%.

I had lots of fun creating this card and used a colour I don’t tend to use nearly enough, Rich Razzleberry. I used the flower image from the set to create a background using Rich Razzleberry Ink.

The Rich Razzleberry card is torn for the second layer and I stamped with Versamark which is then embossed using the Copper Embossing Powder.

The third layer is also torn and stamped with the ‘large splash’ image in Rich Razzleberry and stamped off twice to give the tones of the colour. The lowest one is stamped with Versamark and Copper Embossed.

The sentiment is also from the stamp set and I used the Duet Banner Punch, then layered it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I altered the Rhinestone Jewels by inking them with Versamark and then copper embossing them – use tweezers so you don’t burn your fingers when heat setting them. I did a Video Tutorial the other day on how to do this, if you’re not sure – you can see it here.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.

Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share…
