My dear Gran was English and every problem was solved with a ‘cuppa’. She’d make a fresh brew and talk with me. There was always a sunny side with a lovely smile and hug. I have a few friends doing it tough with various debilitating illnesses. I like to send a card to them each week. So, today I have Tea Together Comfort in memory of my Gran and to send to one of my friends so they know I’m thinking of them.
Tea Together Comfort
Use Tea Together Cling Stamp Set and Flourishing Phrases Clear-Mount Stamp Set as the stamp sets for this card. Add Tea Time Framelits Dies, Tea Room Specialty Designer Series Paper, Tea Room Ribbon Combo Pack and Pearlized Doilies to finish it off.
Use Smoky Slate Classic Stampin’ Pad on Very Vanilla A4 Card Stock scraps to stamp the flowers from Tea Together Cling Stamp Set then use one of the Blender Pens to colour them with Calypso Coral Classic Stampin’ Pad and Old Olive Classic Stampin’ Pad before die cutting them.
Tip: You can add dark and light tones when colouring depending on how much ink you load up to the pen. When you first add colour, colour the areas which would naturally be darker and as your pen runs out of colour, colour the light touched areas.
Tip: Spend A$180- to be able to choose the Tea Time Framelits Dies from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. It matches the Tea Together Cling Stamp Set exactly, so well worth getting. Click the banner below to see what’s available for FREE
Tip: Tie the bow in the handle of either the teapot or teacup once you have adhered them to the card front. This anchors your elements while you tie a bow with Tea Room Ribbon Combo Pack
Tea Together Comfort Basics
Cut a piece of Very Vanilla A4 Card Stock to 14.4 cm x 10 cm or 5″ x 3 3/4″ for the card insert. Stamp one of the flowers in Smoky Slate Classic Stampin’ Pad on both the card insert and the Very Vanilla C6 Envelopes
Tip: Adhere the teapot and teacup to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and hold the Pearlized Doilies in place as you adhere the other elements in place. This means you don’t need to adhere the Pearlized Doilies down separately.
You can add other elements if you want to now the card is finished. Don’t forget to mail it off to someone who needs to know you’re thinking of them.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.
Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share…
