Wedding Inability Card

DH needed an “Inability to Accept” for a wedding he’d been invited to. It’s for a work colleague but we’ll be away when she gets married. Now knowing I won’t have time when we get home from holidays as we have to go back to work the very next day, I suddenly realised at 11.45pm I needed to get it done. So I burnt the midnight oil and came up with this. It’s a case from someone else’s  creation.
Recipe:
Heart punch
Dimensionals
Basic Black card
Whisper White card
Pretty in Pink card
Basic Black 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon
Jewels – basic pearls
Paper Daisies
Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Elegant Boquet Textured Impressions folder
Big Shot

The card is white 🙂 not pink as the photo seems to depict. It was a surprisingly quick card to make. For the insert I chose a tent fold card in Publisher and typed in the sentiment on the correct page, printed it out, cut where needed and adhered to the inside of the card. Now it’s already for him to give to his colleague when work resumes.

Now DH and I will be away down in Sussex Inlet where he will fish and I will stay inside watching the ocean from a warm cabin 🙂 I’m not taking any card making or scrapbooking with me this time. However, I’m hoping to get my tax stuff organised, reading, embroidery and knitting done.

Keep stopping by my blog as there will be a new creation going up every couple of days. Stay safe, warm (if you live in the southern hemisphere) and well.

Oh, there will be a sneak peek of mu Christmas in July workshop, posted over the next week.
Thanks for stopping by and I’d love to read your comments on this post.

Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share …
